ReplyDeleteThis age is full of curiosity. Curiousity to know many things. Since these age - group kids encounter a lot of things for the first time, it's necessary to channelise their curiosity into a better learning, of various modules which are of basic levels.
ReplyDeleteECCC helps the child to learn in a playway method. They learn new things and also learn how to experiment and invent something new with their learning experiences. They love learning not through books but by listening to sounds ,feeling and looking at things around them. It helps them to actually accept challenges which will not only help them now but in the long run as they grow. Outdoor games play a very crucial role as they help to buld their gross motor skills. The indoor games help to develop their fine motor skills and hand and eye coordination which will help them in their overall development . This gives an opportunity to the differently abled children to also be streamed along with the others.

ReplyDeleteECCE refers to the foundational years of growth of a child. The child learns but in a play-way method which enhances the growth and development not only specifically but holistically. It is important that before stepping into the mainfold system of education of learning through books, the child learns the importance of all the things around him/her. The aim of ECCE is to teach all this in a play-way method . At this age the child is full of energy and curious to know about the happenings in the nature. It is through ECCE that the energy of the child is used to the maximum and the questions are not left unanswered. The curiousity of the child should not be hushed or quitiened. The questions asked should be answered so that it is simple for the child to understand and he is left without a doubt. Each and every child should be given an equal opportunity to learn and grow. ECCE helps in tapping the capabilities of the child and give opportunities to grow in the field in which the child is interested.

ReplyDeleteThere is maximum growth in brain development during the formative years which spans the time from birth upto 6 years of age. Hence it is of utmost importance that children in this age range are exposed to experiences which will enrich their growth and development. The term ECCE in itself speaks volumes of about the right care to be provided to children during their formative years .The holistic development of the child during this age lays the foundation of the future learning. The role of early childhood care and education cannot be ignored for these very reasons.
It is tested and the ECCE also aims that the brain developed during 1 to 6 years is phenomenal. If the children are provided conducive environment we can notice a development in cognitive and motar skills of the child. Which will further lead to have an inquisitive learner.

Many people feel that - are yeh toh bachcha hai, isko kya sikhana hai, but in fact, this is the time when you can mould the clay to have a progressing nation.

ReplyDeleteEarly childhood care and education serves as a curriculum framework for children from birth to six years. It aims to provide information for the adults to plan and provide enjoyable learning experiences so that every child grows and develops as a competent and confident learner.
Also, it intends to provide guidelines on supporting children’s learning through partnership with parents, interaction with others, play and assessment.
ECCE provides a platform for the learner to explore and reflect the above said aspects by using multiple pedagogical techniques in their learning space providing them the safest and the best environment to bloom and grow in all dimensions.

ReplyDeleteThis program is really helpful. Through my personal experience as a pre primary teacher to primary teacher i have seen the development of my students right from when they were in Nursery to grade 3 as of now. Through play way method a child's overall development gives the child a proper way to use his/her thinking, logical, critical skills that lead to perfection in all areas.

The early years stage is the wet clay stage, where you can mould the children easily as per how you who want them to be. So we must make all endeavours at this stage to mould our children in a positive manner empowering them to become better humans and better learners!

For that play way method (age appropriate) helps a lot for their growth and development. We should focus mainly on literacy and numeracy development. It should be child centric and follows holistic approach. If the basement is strong, then obviously the building will be strong. Early learning improves their fine motor and gross motor skills which is basic for their next step of development.

'Learning by doing' should be the ultimate motto of the teachers and the parents should also acknowledge this method because in this process not only the cognitve domain can be nurtured but also the affective and psychomotor domain can also be enriched. Socialization, verbal skills can be developed. ECCE also focuses on marginalized children. Education is our Fundamental Right so ECCE is facilitating to include everyone under the umbrella of Education and inclusion of the preschool education with the formal education by NEP 2020 will ease the process and increase the diameter of the umbrella.
