What is going to be the most challenging moment or issue while providing learning experiences
ReplyDeleteAs class sizes in education are increasing and technology is impacting on education at all levels, these trends create significant challenges for teachers as they attempt to support individual students. Technology undoubtedly provides substantial advantages for students, enabling them to access information from around the planet easily and at any time. The advantages and disadvantages of the increased use of technology have come to light over time as students increasingly engage with new innovations. In this review, we will address an issue that has become progressively evident in digital learning environments but is relevant to all educational settings, particularly as class sizes grow. We will explore the difficulties in attempting to understand and account for the struggles students experience while learning a particular emphasis on what happens when students experience difficulties and become confused. Despite its importance, understanding, identifying and responding to difficulties and the resulting emotions in learning can be problematic, particularly in larger classes and in digital environments. Without the affordances of synchronous face-to-face human interaction in digital environments, emotions like confusion are difficult to detect. It is therefore challenging to respond to students with support or feedback to help their progress when they are stuck and become confused

Activities related to print awareness, reading aloud activities, story enactment, pattern with natural material, gross and fine motor activities, grouping and sorting, rhythm and movement, free talk, circle time etc. are planned and conducted successfully in our school. But in some activities it so happens that due to the time constrain sometime it might not be possible to give each and every child equal time and importance in each activity. Some children are not ready to talk at all. So to make them talk it takes much time. So sometime it happens that we can not reach to everyone at their level.

ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique and the rate of pace for their learning is different. Being providing different interventions through different activities, the most challenging moment for me is while blending and segmenting words many children find difficulties. Apart with the proper involvement in all activities some of them need more time with intervention to read letters/words/sentences. For such situation special academic support as per the child's need and interest were planned with one on one fun activities. Such reading can be done with the outings and not merely in class. Like visits, talks, sentence framing and similar writing prints make them aware.

Most challenging thing is strength of the class and the time. We are doing most of these activities in our school. kindergarten working for our school is 4 hours for five days in a week. So all the children are not getting chance to do the activity. When we do an activity with few kids, engaging other kids we find it difficult and the classroom will be more noisy. kids are disappointed if they are not getting chance daily. But kids enjoy learning by doing activities.
ReplyDeleteStudents have diverse learning needs. Satisfying all of them in the same way while approaching a particular curriculum is a serious challenge. Nowadays, teachers are trying differential teaching strategies to satisfy a slow learner and quick learner. So they will be forced to bring in a lot of creativity and diverse strategies which in turn requires additional preparation time.
