ReplyDeleteICT helps teachers to interact with students. One of the most commonly used ICT tool is YouTube. YouTube can be used to show the children 3D models and there workings, different places, animals and plants from around the World, to teach visual history, etc.
DeleteGeogebra is a tool I have used frequently to teach mathematical concept.... Used ms paint also
DeleteSimulation is the tool that I will use during remote learning. It will engage the students and give them insight to working of many electrical devices and even the functioning of human parts.

ReplyDeleteThe tools we choose should be in line with any school e Safety policy. These tools help learners have fun and enjoy the learning experience. They are great ways of engaging remote learners to collaborate in real time using questions/challenges you have set. Learners can even use them to create their own micro assessments to share with others in the class.

ReplyDeleteLearning can become fun with certain ICT tools like "live worksheets ", plenty of them are available online. For practicing English grammar and Mathematics , these worksheets are highly effective. Apart from that students could be taught through effective power point presentations, virtual tours etc.
ReplyDeleteRemote learning becomes more responsible when teacher are away from the student and don't know the surroundings around the students, thus teacher should be aware of the tool used to make the teaching and learning simple, interesting, short and easy to understand.

ReplyDeleteUsing match box sticks / broom sticks or small strips cut out of any old paper can be used to teach Roman Numerals to the children during remote learning. Children will be asked to paste sticks forming different Roman Numbers on a sheet. This fun game will help children recapitulate the concept of Roman Numerals taught in class.

ReplyDeleteUse of ICT in education has changed the landscape of education by increasing the scope and depth of teaching-learning process. It has brought learners and mentors together by removing he barriers of distance and time. Remote learning can be made possible and more effective using virtual educational platforms, interactive learning material such as interactive worksheets, gamification in learning and Assessment tools. To introduce the chapters and also to recapitulate it is important to let children express their learning through various games, quiz and interactive worksheets. This would help teacher to assess their teaching learning and modify it accordingly.

ReplyDeleteICT has always been an aid to give enriched experience to the learners. But especially in pandemic every learner and educator became highly dependent on it and schools explored various possible ways and applications to continue the teaching learning process.
ReplyDeleteThough there are many apps available for remote online interactive teaching. I found Google Teams app quite helpful. In this teachers could share what students learned and created in the classroom with parents at home, the reverse is also possible. If students are learning remotely and online, then parents can share updates on what students have learned and created with teachers. This is also one of the best remote and online learning tools currently available for students in K through 12 education.
