ReplyDeleteIn Maharashtra , specially in Sawantwadi, Sindhudurg district is famous for wooden toys. These toys include fruitplate , different dolls like joker , human being ,lady wearing shree ,vintage cars , kitchen set, wooden ships , different artists, business men ,etc . The se toys are painted beautifully. Using these toys we can develop creativity , social emotional awareness . We can use them in stories, dramas, identifying colors, fruits different objects- their use, counting , heavy -light, big -small, language development.
DeleteIn my state Punjab wooden toys are very famous especially kitchen toys,furniture and truck etc.such toys can be used in teaching ,for teaching modes of transport n familiarize child with daily used items and different shapes
ReplyDeleteIn Delhi firms have stalls established at Delhi Haat. These firms make hand made toys using daily usage clothes and cheapest materials.

ReplyDeleteIn UP wooden toys from Saharanpur and simple clay toys of mathura are famous. In science I had used them to compare traditional and modern chulha, adaptive features of fish, pigeon,etc.
